Yes. When you make your booking, all guests must accept our rental agreement either online or over the phone.

Every Hostvacations home is a little different — and the maximum occupancy changes depending on the size of the property and local laws and ordinances. To view the maximum occupancy for the home you’re interested in booking; please check the top of the listing beneath the property name.

All overnight visitors and day visitors count toward this occupancy number. We do not include children under 1 year of age in our occupancy count, but we do ask that you include them in the infant section and on the guest occupancy forms.

To help you prepare for your trip, here are some helpful tips on how to be a considerate vacation rental guest.

• Review your property listing, your rental agreement, house rules, and pre-stay email to make sure you understand the rules that apply to your rental

• Prior to your arrival, contact Hostvacations or your Guest Contact to communicate any expectations or special needs you may have

• Make sure your Guest Contact knows what time you expect to arrive at the property

• Report all issues with the property to your Guest Contact as soon as you are aware of them; we want to know.

• Be respectful of the neighborhood and any neighbors that you meet. We are all trying to create a welcoming and positive experience for each other. Remember the Louis Armstrong version of “It’s a wonderful world.”

• Quiet times are between then 9:30 pm and 8:30 am. During that time no sound other than normal conversational tones, loud toys, toys rolling on hard surfaces, running or noisy walking. Our properties are designed and cater to guests looking for fun, peace, and quiet.

• Post a review of your stay to help guide future travelers

Vacation rentals require non-refundable payments to secure a reservation based on the property cancellation rules; however, in most cases, there is up to 100% refund or future credit at any of our properties, available for some time. Additionally, please review your agreement and house rules to make sure all expectations are met and understood.

Immediately after booking your trip online, you’ll receive an initial email confirming the details of your reservation and inviting you to sign up for an HostedVacations Guest Account.

Within 24 hours of booking, our Travel Host will process your initial payment and send you a payment confirmation email.

60 days prior to your arrival, the remaining balance on your reservation will be automatically charged to your credit card on file.

15 days prior to your arrival, you will receive an email with check-in instructions, including the exact address of your property and details on how to get in touch with your local contact.

At any time, you can contact us at 855.888.6450 (press 3) with questions, changes to your reservation, or any other issue you’ve encountered. You can also use your HostedVacations Guest Account to make changes online, email your trip details to friends and family, and easily access your check-in instructions and directions to the property.
